WELCOME

Photos on this page taken from cruises 1990 A-B, 1991 A-B,

and 1993, of old site.

Above, Sky Princess

Ma and I went on a 10-day Caribbean Cruise from Fort Lauderdale (Florida) to Nassau (Bahamas), Tortola (BVI), St. Thomas (USVI), Montego Bay (Jamaica), Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands) and Cozumel (Mexico).
The cruise was to include St. Croix but due to Hurricane Hugo in 1989,
we visited Tortola instead.

Photo above - We were on our way to take a tour of Nassau.

One of the formal nights. Ma and I are looking sharp!
The cruise was from March 8 to March 18, 1989.

Is it really better in the Bahamas??

The Sky Princess docked next to Carnival's Mardi Gras (1972), Carnival's first ship.
Today (2022), there is a more modern Mardi Gras.

The guy to the extreme right, khaki/hat on, is the trainer/conductor.

This, and next photo, are views from

"Sky Princess sailed her last cruise for Princess Cruises in October 2000, arriving in Sydney on 23 October, where she was transferred to P&O Cruises Australia under the name Pacific Sky, after a $10 million refurbishment at the Cairncross Dockyard in Brisbane." Wikipedia
